The Maze Runner sequel The Scorch Trials will race into theaters on September 18, 2015! The first installment hit theaters on Friday, and has brought in $32.5 million domestically and $37.6 million in foreign markets. With a budget of only $30 million, this is a major financial win for Fox Studios! The Maze Runner movies are based on the novels by James Dashner, are directed by Wes Ball, and star Dylan O’Brien in the titular role of Thomas.
THE SCORCH TRIALS SYNOPSIS: Solving the Maze was supposed to be the end. Thomas was sure that escape from the Maze would mean freedom for him and the Gladers. But WICKED isn’t done yet.
